For a
brighter
future.

As an ASX-listed business with more than 2,000 employees and a network of 2,800 clients. We have a responsibility to our people, customers, investors, wider stakeholders and the communities in which we operate. A responsibility to do things better, however that looks today – and whatever that evolves to look like tomorrow.

At IVE, we have long been committed to the well-being of our people, the safety of our operations and the quality of our work.  In 2023, we publicly launched our sustainability strategy to truly connect these focus areas and formally communicate our commitments, our targets and our progress.  We invite you to join us as we strive together for a brighter future.

Our approach

From navigating the impacts of climate change and reducing how we consume resources, to delivering a more equitable and inclusive society, the challenges we face are complex – overwhelming at times.

At IVE we rise to challenge. We acknowledge we don’t have all the answers, and commit to asking the right questions, identifying the need for change and putting stepping stones in place to help us get there.  And in line with clear communications around our targets, we commit to being transparent in our reporting.

Our pillars

In order for us to make progress and create the positive impact we’re after,  our sustainability strategy has to be embedded within our business and decision-making processes. It simply won’t work if it isn’t.

With that at the forefront, we developed our strategy under three core pillars which cover every facet of our business,

Innovative Customer Solutions

Here we focus on pushing the boundaries of sustainable product development – in partnership with our clients and suppliers.  By 2025:

100% of our quotes will have an associated environmental impact rating

100% of our textile products will have access to a take back scheme

4% of addressable spend will be contracted to social suppliers (which we define as those that drive social inclusion or environmental impact).

02

People and Community

This is centered around creating a safe and inclusive working environment for our people and supporting those communities in which we operate. By 2025:

A minimum of 80 certified mental health first aid staff to be employed in the business

We will achieve a 40/40/20 gender ration across senior management

We will employ 30 graduate, cadet and apprenticeship participants sourced from Indigenous, culturally & linguistically diver (CALD), youth, disability and older Australian cohorts.

4% of addressable spend will be contracted to social suppliers (which we define as those that drive social inclusion or environmental impact).

03

Responsible Operations
and Supply Chain

Here we look to reduce our environmental impact whilst leading projects that support more regenerative and ethical supply chains.  By 2025:

We will transition to 50% renewable electricity with an aim to achieving 100% by 2030.

We will achieve a minimum 25% reduction in scope 1 & 2 emissions intensity against a CY21 baseline.

We will reduce total operational waste intensity by 20% on a CY21 baseline.

How are we doing?

Great question – and an important one. We can only truly understand our progress by monitoring and measuring it. And we understand there is a huge appetite for information in this space, as we all look to improve our own impact and those we partner with.

We commit to reporting bi-annually on the progress we’re making against existing targets but also new initiatives and focus areas that arise along the way.  This space is constantly evolving and we recognise that to have a genuine impact, we will need to too. We will provide clear and transparent updates to our clients and those interested in tracking our performance.
