Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and the achievements of the 600 wonderful women in our business.
While there’s still work to do and room for continuous improvement in attracting, retaining and promoting women in our workplace, we’re proud of our achievements in this space over the last 12 months. These include:
- 20% more women employed at IVE compared to the prior 12 month period.
- In one of our core offerings, the employee mix is greater than 50% female with females assuming 80%+ of the senior leadership team roles in that division.
- Four female appointments to IVE’s Senior Leadership Team in the last 12 months – Leana El-Hourani, Rachel Baldovino, Bel Broughton and Jess Ransley.
- Numerous role changes and other promotions across the business for our female staff.
Donations made during our IWD awareness morning teas, across all of our sites nationwide, will be sent to Dress for Success this year. This is a fantastic charity that helps rebuild the lives of women doing it tough by instilling confidence, restoring their dignity and building their resilience – to help disadvantaged women go from Survive to Thrive in 2021 and beyond.
